Crooked River State Park!

We camped off of Exit 1 in Georgia at Croked Rver State Park. It averaged in the mid-high 90's all weekend but it was still awesome. I forgot my digital camera.. so all I have is video!

Someone left corn to rot in the woods next to us before we arrived.. which attracted a friend or two in the night!

Larry cooked the steak over the fire and I baked the potatoes.. We make a great team!

The air matress leaked air.. so we traded it for sleeping bags.. but realized that it fit perfectly in the bed of his truck.. and we made a comfortable sitting area where the breeze reached us in the shade!

One of the wisdom teeth that I had removed has been extremely painful since sunday. I thought it was a dry socket, though when I went back for my check-up today the surgeon told me that much pain is normal and it should subside within a week or so.
Ouch.

I bought a video camera this week.. something I have been itching to buy for a few years now.. woo hoo!

Liquid Diet.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth out last Friday and the surgery it self was painless.. but I've been on major painkillers since. Ugh. The surgeon has me on an all liquid diet for another week or so because anything else will tear my stitches. Let me tell you... I'm getting really tired of chicken broth, yogurt, and soup.

Memorial Day Weekend 2008

On Memorial Day I enjoyed a BBQ at Larry's where Jansen got ahold of my camera.. He always makes the day a good time. I have become his "coloring buddy."

Having decided to stay here and complete my degree as quickly as possible instead of traveling abroad in the fall, I am excited to say I will have my AA degree in Decemeber, and will be admitted into the College of Education in the Spring of 2009. Thus, mkaing my expected graduation date Fall of 2010. I made a 92/100 on a big paper in my Literature class last week and I give a bif presentation next week in my music class. Wish me luck! :)
